Skaters will be guaranteed a slot in ONE of the shows. A few skaters may be asked to skate in both shows depending on our line-up. Club group number will skate in both shows.
Each skater may register for ONE program whether that be a solo, duet, trio, etc. We HIGHLY recommend skaters/parents consult coaches and discuss what kind of performance experience would best for each skater.
We are inviting Club skaters levels BASIC 1 through Pre-Freeskate to consider joining one of the ‘Learn to Perform’ group numbers if they’re not ready to do a solo, duet, or trio. These groups will be directed and choreographed by one of our talented coaches and is a great way to take part in the Winter Show. Again, your skater’s coach or LTS teacher is a good resource in helping make the best decision for your skater.
The Winter Show is a great opportunity for your skater to shine. There are no auditions; however, we expect preparation and professionalism from each skater as he/she prepares to perform and represent Cache Valley Figure Skating Club.
Our director this year is Becca Anderson and our Chair is Jessica Higginbotham. Please feel free to reach out to either of them with questions.
PAYMENT: Payment must be made at the time of registration.
MUSIC: After you have registered/paid, you will be directed to a Google document that allows you to list your skater’s program music. PLEASE carefully read through the music titles entered by other skaters to make sure you’re not choosing a song that has already been listed by another skater. If your skater’s music selection changes, PLEASE go into the Google doc. and make the change ASAP so that list stays as current as possible.
**Make sure your coach gives your music choice a thumbs up.
