Hannah Halverson

  • B.S. Human Movement Science, USU 2014
  • USFS & Safesport Compliant
EXPERIENCE
  • 15+ years skating, performing, & competing
  • Private coach since 2014, teaching students from ages 4-60+
  • Head Coach 2017 – present
  • Spring Show Director 2016-2018
  • Summer Camp founder and director 2017-2018
  • Experience coaching jumps, spins, moves in the field, and off-ice training
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities in classroom and skating settings

My coaching philosophy is to help skaters gain confidence, learn accountability/hard work, and have fun! I especially enjoy teaching the choreographic/artistic side of skating.   • Eccles Ice Center group skating coach

EXPERIENCE
  • 13 years of personal skating experience competing at local and regional competitions throughout the Intermountain West
  • Cast member of the 199 US Figure Skating Nationals Opening & Closing Ceremonies
  • Cast member of the 2002 Winter Olympics Opening & Closing ceremonies
  • Coaching experience since 2005, all ages, all settings, and for all abilities, including taking students to Regionals, and passing Gold Medal tests
  • Spring Show Director multiple times
In addition to my continual involvement in the skating world, I find great joy in my experiences and opportunities as a Mom to four extremely busy and wonderful little boys.
